Day 3
Some people love to go Angkor Wat for two days. But, we had enough for one. 3rd day we wanted to chill.
In the morning, we had breakfast. It comes with a hotel room. The buffet was okay. You have the regular stuff. Bread, eggs, salad, rice, hot dog, ham and so on.
After breakfast, we decided to go for a massage session with our hotel SPA. We opted for Khmer body massage. Slight different from Thai massage. USD12 for 60 mins. You actually can get a better price if you go to Old Night Market or Pub Street to massage. But, we’re too lazy to walk around.
Khmer massage seems to use the whole body of a masseur to massage. So, at a certain point, you might experience masseur on top of your body to press. Weird for David but I’m still okay.
After the massage, we were hungry again.
We had lunch at hotel’s restaurant; we ordered pizza and Thai green curry chicken. The pizza was outstanding and super delicious. The Thai green curry was alright.
After lunch, we rested in the hotel room. In the late evening, we went for a dipped in the swimming pool. Swimming during hot days is nice.
During dinner, we took Tuk-Tuk and went back to Old Night Market. Since it was our last night, we ordered more stuff. We ordered grill prawn, chicken, squid and mixed vegetable. Everything was okay. I think the damage only cost us about USD12 including drinks and rice.
After a heavy dinner, we need to walk. We walked to Pub street.
Pub street was rather a vibrant place. It’s a place where you can unwind and drink your beer or wine while listening to some music. We stayed there for about 1-2 hours and walked back to the hotel.
Next day, we checked out hotel and opt for airport transfer by car which cost us USD8.
Fantastic trip and we enjoyed it so much!
