I love to eat Pizza, Yes I do. But, it has to be good. So my sister recommended us to try Tino’s Pizza months ago. But, we hardly have the chance to try it.
Today, after a movie date with Mr Hubby, we decided to have Tino’s Pizza for dinner. It was 830pm and after berbuka puasa, the place still crowded.
Tino’s Pizza located at the Level 2 of IOI City Mall, and it has a small space. The ambience was cozy, all the menu displayed on the wall. It has a nice vibe there.
We managed to get a table and were approached by the waitress once sitting down. The menu was quite exciting, not only they have the regular pizza, but they also served other stuff like focaccia pizza, dessert pizza, baked spaghettini and Paella rice.
Immediately we placed our order. The food arrived quite fast.
Seafood Paella RM25.90 served with flavour rice, king mushrooms, prawns, calamari and clams (lala). It looks appealing. The rice was satisfying and tasty. However, the prawns and clams quality were utterly disappointing; It was unpleasant and rather not fresh. When we address the issue to the waitress, the answered we received; “oh…hmm… okay. ..” Then, she just threw away the prawns. End of story. No sorry or apologetic gestures. It’s really not cool Tino’s Pizza!
For Seafood Marina Pizza RM25.90, it came with tuna, calamari, prawns and melted cheese. This was fairly decent but definitely not mind-blowing. The pizza dough tastes different than any other pizza I try. The nearest comparison I can give is, it tastes almost like roti canai / paratha dough. To be honest, I can’t decide whether I like it.
Overall, the food was mediocre and the total damaged was RM61.95 ( inclusive 16% taxes)

Personal View:
1. Will I come back for more? Maybe, but it will take me a long time before I do.
2. The freshness of seafood in Paella rice need to be fixed.
3. The service (handling complaint) definitely need to improve.
