Tian Yian Cafe & Restaurant (Vegetarian Restaurant) - Food Review

I may not be a vegetarian fan but I do appreciate the food serve here. Vegetarian food sometimes can be kinda boring and dull. Food here was created with such detail and attentive towards their vegetarian customer.

Once you are a vegetarian, you do not want to have a repetitive vegetarian food or less variety vegetarian food. And this place against all that. They come out with so many vegetarian menus that blow your mind.

From noodle, pizza, burger, salad, curry, local cuisine and so much more. It was with one intention, to make vegetarian food more fun and variety.

This was not my first time here obviously, and never be my last. My hubby, David always hooked with their Original Soup Noodle ( RM7.40) which until today I can’t understand why. A simple clear broth noodle with mushroom and vegetable. His loyalty only to this noodle, nothing else.

For me, a different story. I do love their Nasi Johor with Pu Er Tea and Vegetarian Rojak. But, occasionally I would order their green curry and normal curry. I’m telling you the curry is hot, spicy, flavorful and creamy too. It really stands out among other dishes.

This time, I ordered Nasi Johor (RM16.75) and Vegetarian Rojak (RM9.35). The reason, why I love Nasi Johor because the brown rice came with so many side dishes like green curry chicken, curry vegetarian lamb, some vegetable and poppadum. I can have all these flavorful dishes in one menu. How great is that?

And for the Rojak, it served with fried soft tofu, some slice cucumber and pour with satay sauce. Hmm… yum yum.

The price can be quite steep here but the environment are air-condition, calm, peaceful, clean and services are rather fast here.

However, looking for a parking lot can be challenging here with less parking places. Normally, we will come after lunch time or slightly 1-2 hours before dinner.

If you are in the area, I do recommend for you to try out the food. I think will be a memorable experience.
