Tim Ho Wan, the famous Hong Kong Dim Sum with Michelin status. When it hit Malaysia, the queues were unbearable. I am not a person who like to go places that are crowded. I would prefer avoid the crowd and wait until the craziness settle down. If the places are full of people, restaurant normally will have shortage of staff, and this will compromise the services and food.
This week we had a chance to try out Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum at Midvalley. It’s Bae birthday and i thought why not. Once we were there, it’s weekday and 4pm, there wasn’t any queue at all and the restaurant was not pack. Ah… lucky us.
I did expected an excellent Dim Sum here since the price was almost double or 2.5x more from regular dim sum price.
While, bear in mind, i did my researched and know what to order. I ordered the best
review dim sum and the “seem not so good dim sum” i can get elsewhere.
We ordered about 5 dim sum. And let me tell y’all,do not under estimated these 5 Dim
Sum. It was scrumptious and we’re so full after the meal.
Overall, the food were delicious. But, the price definitely on the higher side.
If i had to choose the best and unique among these 5 dim sum. This is how i would rate
it.

3. Pork Dumpling With Shrimp ( Siew Mai) – 4 pieces
This siew mai is the best i ever had because it is super fresh and juicy. You can taste the freshness of the pork and prawn meat. How i which i can order for second.
4.Prawn Dumpling ( Har Gao) – 4 pieces
The skillful creation and maintaining juicy prawn meat are so vital for Dim Sum Chef. And this chef just hit a home run. The prawn dumpling are so fresh, juicy and sweet .I enjoyed it a lot.

Normally, i will not order any cake from a dim sum restaurant. But, the review on this steamed egg cake was exceptional. The steamed egg cake was super fluffy and light. Best enjoyed while still warm.
