I know this is just silly. But, I just realized that there are three or more brands of this Red Bean Curd. They all look almost identical.
Now, I know why it isn’t easy to cook my Chap Chye consistently. I have not used the same brand!!
The two on the left are more watery, and the colour is a bit dull too. And they are made in China.
While the most right is the best option, I prefer that one.
The brand name is Wing Chow Phoenix. And it is made in Hong Kong.
For this brand, the colour and texture are much better.
