This week’s video is How to Make Fried Yee Mee. This Yee Mee recipe has saved me countless times when I’m busy working at home or needing a quick meal to whip.
I know we all have a limited time per day, and we are all juggling with so many things to do from work, family, kids, and personal stuff. So, we need something quick to have, and it still tastes good.

How To Make Fried Yee Mee | Fried Yee Mee Noodles Recipe
Serve: 2-3 person
Ingredients:
3x yee mee
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp minced garlic
100g chicken meat
1/2 onion, slice into wedges
4-5 fishballs
20g cabbage
500ml water
Seasoning:
2 tbsp + 1 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
a few dashes of white pepper
1/2 tsp sugar
Method:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- Add Yee Mee. Let it soften and drain. Put aside.
- Heat a cooking pan and add 2 tbsp cooking oil.
- Add 1 tbsp minced garlic. Cook until slightly brown.
- Add 100g chicken meat. Stir fry until 80-90% cooked.
- Add 1/2 onion and fishballs.
- Add cabbage and season with 1 tbsp soy sauce.
- Cook until the vegetable soften.
- Add Yee Mee, seasoning, and some water. Add water gradually.
- Cover and cook for another 2-3 mins. Let it be braised.
- Remove cover and stir.
- Give a test taste, and if necessary, add some salt.
- And it’s done!
