I always love tofu, the texture of tofu kinda soft, silky and smooth. Tofu made from soybean curds are low calorie and excellent source of protein, iron and calcium.

Normally, we will have Tofu in the menu for at least once a week or twice a week which i try my very best to make it possible. If i don’t have any Tofu on my menu, i will definitely go for Homemade Soybean Drinks which quite easy to get around my neighbour hood.

I came across this recipe on the internet and adjust it according to my liking and people, this Seafood Tofu taste really good ! If you are a Tofu fan, you must try this recipe.

Homemade Seafood Tofu

Ingredients:
3 blocks soft tofu
200 g fish paste
100g prawn, devein and chopped
3 pcs mushroom, soaked and chopped
1 handful Scallion, chopped
3 eggs
2 tbsp chopped coriander
1 red chili, chopped
1 tbsp corn flour

Seasoning:
1.5 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp chicken stock granule

For frying:
I just coated with corn flour and shallow fry.

Method:
1) Mashed tofu with a fork.
2)Mix in all the ingredients and seasoning.
3)Fill tofu mixture into a greased square container, steam for 20 minutes. (i use a loaf baking pan) Cut processed tofu into rectangular shape once it is cool.
4) I coated Tofu with corn flour, shallow fry till golden and serve with chilies Sauce
