Let be honest here. I used to hate yellow noodles. Anyone with me? Yellow noodles typically have this strong alkaline taste that turns off my appetite.

So, even if I’d have any yellow noodles, I’d mix with other types of noodles like Hor Fun or Bee Hoon.

However, months ago, I stumbled upon a new yellow mee brand under Gardenia called NuMee. Yes, it’s under Gardenia, the breadmaker.

And I tried to make Mamak Mee Goreng and Fried Yellow Mee- wet version, and I loved it!

So, I can’t wait to share this recipe with you guys!

1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 tbsp chili sauce
2 tbsp sweet sauce

11. Add in the prawns and cover the noodle for 2-3 mins or until the prawns cooked.

12. Garnish with red chili slices before serving, and it’s done!
