In today video, I’m going to share Fried Prawns Recipe. I’m always a big fan of eating prawns compare to other seafood.

David’s grandmother used to bring big and fresh prawns from Sabah whenever she is visiting us. The prawns are fresh and succulent, hard to find this kind of prawns in Klang Valley.

So, we will cook various recipes with the prawns, from deep-frying to sweet and sour. Even sometimes, we will put inside our ramen. It’s so so good!

So, today video I’m going to share with you how to make this simple and easy Fried Prawn Recipe and I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Fried Prawns Recipe| Fried Shrimp Recipe |Fried Prawns Recipe Chinese |Udang Goreng Tepung

Ingredients :
22 pcs big prawns, devein
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
deep fried oil

Batter:
50g Tapioca Flour
50g Rice Flour
50g cake flour
3 tbsp wheat flour
1 tbsp custard powder
1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/2-1 tsp salt
60g cooking oil
200ml Water

Method:
1. Remove prawn shell, leave the tail. and devein.

2. Marinate prawns with 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp sugar and mix well.

3. Heat a wok/pan with deep-frying oil.

4. Dip prawn into the batter and directly to the deep-frying oil.

5. Test with one or two pieces of prawns to check the result. Feel free to add salt or wheat flour if the batter is too liquid.

6. Once the prawns change to golden brown, transfer to a plate with the kitchen towel. And repeat again.

7. Serve while still warm.
