In today video, I’m going to share another Banana Fritters or Pisang Goreng recipe.

I have 3 Banana Fritters or Pisang Goreng recipe on my channel. I kid you not. So, I’m a very big fan of Pisang Goreng.

I always try to look for the best Pisang Goreng batter. While to be honest, I still love the earlier version of my Pisang Goreng recipe. You can check out the video here.

But, this batter is not all bad. There is crunchiness but it’s just doesn’t last long.

Anyway, I still hope you will try this recipe. It still tastes good and all my Pisang Goreng disappear within minutes.

Banana Fritters | How To Make Banana Fritters| Pisang Goreng Recipe| Pisang Goreng Recipe Malaysian

Yield : 6 -8 pax


1.50-2kg Banana ( 1.50-2kg Pisang Abu)

Deep frying oil


1 cup Wheat Flour ( 1 cawan Tepung Gandum)

1 cup Rice Flour ( 1 cawan Tepung Beras)

1 cup Cornflour ( 1 cawan Tepung Jagung)

1 Egg ( 1 biji Telur)

1 tsp salt ( 1 sudu kecil garam)

1 tsp Yeast ( 1 sudu kecil Yis)

1 tsp Turmeric Powder ( 1 sudu kecil Serbuk Kunyit)

2 cup water ( 2 cawan air)


  1. Combine all the batter ingredients and let the batter less for 15 mins.
  2. Remove banana skin and cut into half. I prefer to have a smaller banana fritter. You can omit to cut the banana if you like it to be in original size.
  3. Heat up the deep frying oil.
  4. Dip the banana pieces to the batter and transfer to the hot oil.
  5. Cook until golden brown.
  6. If the oil is too heat, reduce it to medium heat or adjust accordingly.

Tip: This banana fritter is crispy while it’s still hot. But eventually, it will be soggy just within half an hour. If you want a recipe with the crispiness last longer, check out my other Pisang Goreng recipe.
