Make about: 4 cupcakes size

Ingredients A:

1 Egg

95g Unflavoured oil

80g brown sugar

1/8 tsp salt

1/4 tsp banana essence

Ingredients B:

125g overly ripe banana, mashed

Ingredients C:

75g all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda


  1. Preheat oven, 160c at 10 minutes.
  2. Get ready for all the ingredients.
  3. Combine all ingredients A, B, And C in a bowl by hand. Use a regular whisk or spatula to combine. Once it combines and smoothes, then stop mixing.
  4. Pour the batter to a cupcake tin. Fill about 2/3 portion of the tin. It will rises.
  5. Bake under convection mode 160c at 40-45 minutes or until it’s done.
  6. Once a toothpick inserted in the center and comes out clean, then it’s done!


Tips :

  1. This recipe is a small portion batter as it’s just two of us, so we don’t consume a lot. You can double or triple the recipe if you want to make more.
  2. If possible, try not to switch the brown sugar to regular sugar because the texture of brown sugar will be most suitable for this recipe.
